Importing SAE data from PV unit:

Context:

SAE Import allows the user to import data in SAE forms of treatments.  The SAE data is received from the PV unit in digital format.

The end-user can import data in endTB system using the sample file(below) instead of entering the data manually per treatment.

Steps to upload the SAE import data:

  1. Select Admin module from the home dashboard
  2. Select CSV upload
  3. Select SAE Import and choose the file which has the SAE data received from the PV unit. Click on upload.

  4. When you upload the file you will see the result in the uploaded files section.

The time taken to upload the files depends on the size of the data.

Click "Refresh" to see the status of upload.

SAE Import File Enhancement after 1.5.1 release

For a single patient one SAE Encounter Row in import CSV file can represent entire SAE Form.

TB drug treatment section columns set of "TB Drug", "TB Drug:Final Action", "TB Drug:related?" can be repeated based on no of sections to be imported.

To remove a particular TB drug treatment section from multiple sections, remove it from the import file.

Every SAE import keeps the sections only from import and remove the sections that are not present in import file.

What happens when import fails ?

If the import fails, an error file is generated, indicating the errors. Errors are usually generated, if the data in the import is not of the possible values as in the table above or if the import doesn't have a match in the system.

Solving the import error

When there is an error, download the file. Then rectify the errors and upload it again.
