Thank you for your interest in helping Bahmni as a translator. We are excited to have you join the team! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started with translating the Bahmni resource on Transifex.

Sign Up on Transifex

Before participating in a project or translating content, you must have a free translator account on Transifex. There are two ways to get an account:

1. By Creating an Open Source Transifex account

  1. Visit the Transifex Website:
    Go to Transifex.

  2. Sign In with Google:
Click on "Google (Business)" and sign in using your email ID.

  3. Complete Your Profile:

    1. Add a username and click on "Complete Signup".

    2. Make sure to select "Join an existing organization" and click on “Continue.”

    3. Fill in your first and last name, then choose which languages you can speak.

  4. Complete Your Sign Up:
Once you are done, you’ll be taken to the Explore page, where you can find and join a project. Please check your email for the activation link and click on it to activate your account.

2. By Getting invited to a team

If you were invited to join a translation team on Transifex, you would receive an email with a link to set up your account. Click the link, complete the signup form, and click Create my account.

After creating your account, you’ll be automatically taken to the page of the Team you were invited to.
