About the Feature
The metadata are maintained in OpenMRS for an implementation. Bahmni captures various information for a patient. There are times we would like to share these data or information to other implementation. So the data can be exported from Bahmni using CSV Export and you can import it to any other Bahmni implementation using Import feature. Bahmni uses CSV format to exchange the data between implementations.
Where is it Used?
Group of hospitals might share the same data because those hospitals are maintained by same people. So, Import feature of the system allows to share the patient information or metadata from one hospital to other hospitals.
