0. Overview
1. DOCTOR selects body segment.
2. DOCTOR selects type of tests needed.
3. DOCTOR reviews selected tests.
1. DOCTOR may mark a test as "Urgent".
- In ver .85 this feature does not exist.
- This is done manually by typing "this is urgent" in notes.
- Downside for this approach is when the lab list all tests (or show a report), it is difficult to spot "Urgent" tests or group urgent tests. As discussed on 09/28/16 meeting w/ Shanmugam
- JSS uses iPad to order tests, so it is cumbersome for them to type "this is urgent" on an iPad. As discussed on 09/28/16 meeting w/ Shanmugam
- A story (#2284) is created to capture these problems.
- Arvind created a solution by adding a checkbox-button next to notes (see 7903.png).
- "Urgency" of a radio test is standardized as a field in PACS, and currently we do have a "Urgency" field in database, so the lab software can automatically prioritize test. As discussed on 09/28/16 meeting w/ Shanmugam
2. DOCTOR may demand a test result to be printed, thus mark it as "Print Needed".
- In ver .85 this is done by manually typing into notes.
- There is no "Print Needed" field in database, so having a flag for it is unnecessary. As discussed on 09/28/16 meeting w/ Shanmugam
