About the Feature

Your hospital may have to receive and capture patient's information in form of documents. This could include patient's paper record scans, X-Ray images and other documents received from external entities. Bahmni allows you to upload these documents by tagging them and associating it to specific visits of a patient. When we use Bahmni in Tablets like iPad, these documents can be captured directly (by using the camera). All these documents get attached to patient's record viewable from other parts in Bahmni. On these documents the clinicians can also write their comments/notes.

It provides multiple document upload. A user can add patient's document along with comments which represents the purpose of the document.

Where is it Used?

When patient visits hospital with scan/X-Ray images or any other documents then clinician can add these during consultation.

Benefits

The stored documents will be useful when clinician looks for information on previous visit history.
