Care View Dashboard

Overview

The Careview Dashboard, also referred to as the Ward Level Dashboard, is a centralized interface designed to streamline patient management within a specific ward. This dashboard consolidates relevant patient information, including medication and non-medication tasks, for in-patient department (IPD) patients admitted to a particular ward. The Careview Dashboard enhances efficiency and ensures that healthcare providers have easy access to critical patient data, improving the overall quality of care.

Key Features

Ward-Based Filtering

The Careview Dashboard allows users to filter the list of patients based on the ward they are admitted to. This feature is particularly useful in large healthcare facilities where patients are distributed across multiple wards.

Ward-Based Filtering

Users can select a specific ward from a dropdown menu at the top of the dashboard. Once a ward is selected, the dashboard updates to display only the patients admitted to that ward, along with their associated tasks and treatment details.

Total Patient View

The Total Patient View provides a comprehensive summary of all patients currently admitted to the selected ward.

The dashboard displays a dedicated section showing the total number of patients in the ward. This view is essential for getting a quick overview of the ward's capacity and patient load. Users can toggle between the Total Patient View and the My Patient View to switch perspectives.

Ability to Mark a Patient as "My Patient"

This feature allows healthcare providers to mark specific patients as "My Patient" for easier tracking and management.

Users can bookmark a patient by clicking on a specific icon next to the patient’s name. Once bookmarked, the patient is added to the "My Patients" list, and the user’s name is linked with the patient’s details. This helps users focus on patients they are directly responsible for.

My Patient View

The My Patient View provides a personalized view of the patients that have been marked as "My Patients."

Similar to the Total Patient View, this section displays the number of patients that the user has bookmarked. This view is particularly useful for nurses and doctors who need to track their assigned patients closely. Users can switch between this view and the Total Patient View for different perspectives.

Shift Navigation

Shift Navigation allows users to move between different shifts to view tasks and patient information relevant to each shift.

The dashboard includes left and right arrows for navigating between shifts. The shift duration and start time can be customized according to the hospital’s scheduling system. Additionally, a "Current Shift" button allows users to quickly return to the current shift view, ensuring they are always viewing the most relevant data.

On-Click IPD Dashboard Access

This feature provides quick access to the detailed IPD Dashboard for each patient.

By clicking on a patient ID or the “Schedule Treatments” button (which is enabled if the patient has newly prescribed medication that needs to be added to the Drug Chart) in the Careview Dashboard, users are redirected to the individual IPD Dashboard for that patient. The IPD Dashboard provides comprehensive details about the patient’s treatment, history, and ongoing care plans, ensuring that all relevant information is readily accessible for informed decision-making and patient care management.

Dedicated Patient Search and Task-Based Filtering

The dashboard includes robust search and filtering capabilities to quickly locate specific patients or tasks.

Users can search for patients within the selected ward by entering their name, bed number, or patient ID in the search bar. Additionally, the task list can be filtered based on specific criteria, such as medication tasks or non-medication tasks, allowing users to focus on the most critical tasks at hand.

Driven by Configuration

The Careview Dashboard is highly configurable, allowing healthcare facilities to tailor the dashboard to their specific needs.

Various parameters, such as the number of results per page, page size options, and timeframe limits in hours, are all configurable. This flexibility ensures that the dashboard can be customized to align with the operational requirements of different wards or hospitals.

Conclusion

The Careview Dashboard is an integral tool for managing patient care within a ward. With its user-friendly interface, customizable features, and robust filtering options, it empowers healthcare providers to deliver more efficient and focused care. By centralizing key patient information and tasks, the dashboard not only improves workflow efficiency but also enhances the overall quality of in-patient care.
